Samsung users...

Lately all the new Samsung phones have no removable battery and no ext SD. Why is Samsung doing this? Do you think this is a permanent trend Samsung is gonna take from now on? I only reason why I use android is because of those 2 reasons. Any alternatives?

I read that they didn't think enough people would care and it's better for Samsung.
