Absolutely everyone. I'm happy that Bungie is selling it so that a ton of you folks who have never been lucky enough to have it can finally own one or three. I already had a Gjallarhorn myself but my buddy Dazed who has pretty much been playing this game since the day of its release has NEVER seen it. He's put in tons of time into this game but RNG was never in his favor. Now he can finally own one and attempt Skolas. I'm sure this is the case for SOOOOO many other players because as of right now, you kind of require Gjallarhorn in order to attempt him.
Technically, none of us "earned" it since Gjallarhorn is one of the most random drops in the game. You can't exactly farm for it from a certain boss. You just have to be lucky. I've seen people get it in crucible and I've gotten mine from a legendary weapon engram. The people who farmed strange coins definitely earned it though. I think it's ridiculous that people are saying "You people don't deserve it!" I've just got one question for you then: Who the -blam!- are you and hows does another players happiness affect yours in anyway? Oh, right. It -blam!-ing doesn't. Shut the -blam!- up.
One last thing, Gjallarhorn will not be completely and utterly nerfed into the ground. When patch 2.0 rolls out, there will ALWAYS be a king of rocket launchers and it will continue to be the famed "Ballerhorn." If anything, they'll probably reduce the damage of the wolfpack rounds by 20-25%. Bungie themselves have said that they want the weapon to retain its niche of ultimate PvE devastation. If you need a weapon to absolutely nuke an enemy, Gjallarhorn always has been and always will be the answer.
