For all you hater out there.. I've gotten 10 Gjallahorn's till this day. You will never know the feeling of seeing a Gjallahorn being "earned" by you and being upset about it since you already own 3 maxed out Gjallahorns. Btw I've deleted 6 Gjallahorns. (True story bro)

1 ReplyNot sure if you're being for real or not, but here's how I look at it. Anything you do has a chance at a random reward except for the weekly heroic, where you know you'll be getting coins. You run the weekly specifically knowing you'll get coins. Those coins are really the only thing you 'earn' so if you use those to buy from xur, it's more like earning it than running poe, raids, or nightfall where you get it as a lucky drop. I got my gjallahorn from a nightfall reward, but I hold no animosity for those that buy it. I'm fact I might buy one for my alternates so I don't have to swap it over every time. I missed it on the second week and it took me 700 hours to get it after that, if buying it can prevent someone from being excluded from lfg (I never exclude for that, it's completely unneeded) than good for them. I feel this would have been a much easier solution than nerfing it, but I'm fine with the nerf to. Tl,dr: Running the weekly heroic and getting coins is really the only thing you 'earn' as a guaranteed drop, so xurning it IS earning it
