Right, and there are some weapons that are better in different situations. The Weekly Nightfall, (I think) had Solar as a burn. My teammate ran Gally and I ran with my Dragon's Breath. The Dragon poured on the damage while Gally did ok. Your point is very valid, if you don't know how and when to use these weapons you are not understanding the full potential of them.
