I would like to see if Bungie would bury our fallen brother who died in the ongoing fight against the Darkness. Anything, a makeshift grave of rocks and a piece of metal would do. A little grimoire about who he was and what he had accomplished would be neat as well. He has laid there long enough. It's time we finally put his body to rest; it's the right thing to do. I understand we have taken back his Ghost, but it too has fallen to the shadows. Maybe it deserves something special as well. Could the duo possibly get a little statue in the Tower in their honor?
Edit: Aaayy both of the threads are trending! Keep it up Guardians!!
Also, 800+ comments so far. Nice work! You guys are destroying this!
Edit 2: Added a link to the other forum. If these get big enough, I may just remake one or try to make this one the main.

Edit 4:
Geeze you guys have been busting this out! I'm really proud to have such a prideful community, one that can bond together over an idea and work towards a goal that would better the world that we play in, the world we love so much. First, I want to apologize for not continuing on with this, it's my fault we haven't seen much activity. I've been so busy with work and my home life I haven't had much time to dedicate towards bringing our fallen brother home.
Secondly Guardians, I'm leaving this month for Basic Training for the Army Reserves, and I won't be through will all my training until some time after April of next year. I won't be around to moderate and help keep this post alive, so there may be some silence for a while.
Lastly, I want to say thank you, to everyone who has supported this idea, and will support it. It's something that is personal not only to me but others in our community. You all are keeping this dream alive, and hopefully Bungie will see and at least respond. Give notice to something that isn't just complaining, wanting nerfs, something we care for and would like to see happen.

No, leave that Titan scum to rot and stay as a trophy for the Hive!
-
R.i.p. in peace....:(
-
Signed and sealed. Although I've always thought of the poor chap as a welcome mat.
Wipe your feet before entering the filthy Hive Temple, please. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
Nope. Leave him there as a sign to others who want to enter: "Abandon all hope ye who enter here..." Shit. Wait. I'm supposed to be on the guardian's side. I keep forgetting that. Play a lot of pvp and you get used to killing guardians. Lol

I posted this back on june 11th. Its time we bring the dead guardian home thats in front of the door to the hive on the moon. He fought the hive and gave up his life for us. Lets bring him home to rest in peace. There should be a memorial in the tower, the section where the iron banner is. There his body will rest but also there will be some other names inscribe on the memorial too, name of guardians that made the ultimate sacrifice. Kabr, Eris's team that she lost. I'm thinking it would look like the tomb of the unknown. Or a statue of each class. The guardians body will only be on the moon when you do the story part with him, after that all other story missions and patrols will have a big rectangle stone in the ground saying. "Here lies and guardian, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of the traveler. May he ever rest among the stars." A tradition for me and my friends any time we pass him we take a knee in respect for him. Let me know what you think and what other guardian from the lore should be added to the memorial.
-
I vote for "burning" myself. Release his light to the stars. A shrine should be placed, as a mark of respect.

Buried or Viking Funeral
-
Signed
he's been there forever
-
If they can bury the Loot Cave, they can bury that guy.
-
Bump for our Fallen Bubble Bro.
-
He's part of the moon.
-
Ps, signed and bump
-
I t-bagged him a lot
-
As a warlock, it pains me to see my Titan brother being disgraced in such a way. Signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours.
-
Who are we talking about? Where is he
-
Yeah we can gave him a better place
-
There was a thread a looooooooong time ago (back in November, which in b.net time is AGES) about the same thing. I say bring him home. It's what I would do for any of you.
-
"Here lies Ketchup McMustard. Great titan, not so great in choosing the colour of his armor."
-
Signed and sealed. It's pretty disgraceful to walk over a fellow guardians corpse during small tasks such as patrols. Give him a name, give us his story, give him a proper funeral. He was such an integral part of the beginning story and yet treated as trash.
-
Signed
-
Wait, a Titan or the golden age guy in a space suit with a wrench next to his dead corpse?

This morning for breakfast i had pizza rolls and i almost had a slice of pizza for dinner but then i remembered i had pizza rolls for breakfast and then i didnt want to have too much pizza in one day so instead i had some eggs

No the hive should make an example of it. They never explicitly address it but at certain points they imply the hive are flesh eating monsters. Specifically you will find thrall hunched over munching on something. After the first mission you encounter the hive destiny doesn't do enough to promote their creep factor. I hope TTK does more to make them a more horrific type of enemy rather thE just a bunch of hostile crabs and Meth heads chasing you as if you were the new dealer in town.

Guardians never die, they just go missing in action.
-
If they do that. Who will I teabag while my ghost scans him?

As a cabal colossus I APPROVE this message
