Destiny 2 Current Gen Consoles
Dear Bungie,
Can the next retail game of Destiny (aka "Destiny 2") be on current gen consoles? Last gen were included in Destiny 1 so as not to feel left out, but next game should just be current gen so as to actually utilize it's full potentials.
This will allow for:
- larger player groups in a given area (patrols, crucible, tower, raids, strikes)
- public world bosses
- bigger tower vault
- destructible environments

*sigh* They tell you they can't put that crap in the game because they're just attempting to make people upgrade. It's a lie. Last gen consoles can handle some huge games. It's seriously stupid how see-through their ploy is.

Just because it allows it doesn't mean bungie will utilize it. They could have easily given current gen folks something more than last gen but they are cheap.

9 RepliesMy biggest fear though, given the track record, is that destiny 2 will be a completely new game. Meaning that it will be a whole new reboot. Perhaps the story will continue but anything you've done up to that point will be for nothing. Now before the blind fanboys jump in and say in their best Kip Dynamite voice, "that's what all games do.", that is not how Destiny was advertised. It was advertised as a ten year game. This whole business of not ascending raid gear is already setting a precedence to make the grind for nothing in a true sequel when that does come to fruition. Side note: Before ol hellfire comes in and threatens to beat me within an inch of my life for using the term "blind" as it may offend people who can't actually see, I just want to point out that I was not using it in that context and truly didn't mean to offend his uber politically correct mindset.

2 RepliesIt's a 10 year plan but development counted as time so technically this is year 5, there will only be two more games, destiny 2 will be all systems again, then destiny 3 will be current only

4 RepliesI can almost bet that "Destiny 2" will only be new gen. It would be a huge mistake to allow last gen. It would open up the game to so much more!

1 Replya couple months ago i would have been mad at this post since I'm on last gen and would not want to be left out, but i finally realized this game was a huge pile of trash lol. Back to BO2.

Ooh think of how pretty they could improve the graphics to be, they're fine at the moment but just some of the small things could be improved perhaps....
