That's generally the feeling, there honestly isn't a breakup where both sides come out on top. Just remember it could be worse, sounds like you two could still be friends and that it didn't go nuclear... those breakups sting. Also there are a load of other people in the world, I though I wouldn't find anyone until I put my mind to it and eventually found someone. Just takes persistence and an ability to get back up and know you are you.
