Are trials weapons just status or are they really good and if so what are they good at
I've been trying to get the jewel of Osiris and when I got it last week it actually wasn't that great in crucible the fire rate of it is too slow for me and I was getting destroyed by really fast exotic weapons so please share your thoughts on the trials weapons.

I have a solar Summoner and It is a great Pve gun. Yes a auto rifle that is solid. It rips through shanks with solar shields really well. It has solid impact and does very well in the cabal areas of Poe. I find it much better then the abyss unless I am battling Hive. The Messenger is also great. Absolutely destorys in Crucible. Until more people get the new weapons of TTK (when it launches) I am pretty sure The Messenger will take the place of Thorn and Last word. It already is a great counter to both weapons. And since those weapons will be nerfed....The Messenger will be top dog for a bit.

Messenger is a solid gun for us perks. The scholar is not bad either. There are better guns than the jewel. The summoner is an auto rifle so who knows when the main patch comes out.

All are sick. Adept ones are good in PvE as well, but not as good as raid weapons

All good for PVE not PVP in my opinion

Depends on the player. I find them all weak in comparison to my vanilla and dlc1 legendary weapons but others may see a beautiful killing machine.
