What inspired your username?
Over the years I've come across alot if unique and wierd gamertags and psn usernames. So I thought I would make a post and see how you guys came up with them.
I created mine about 10 years ago when I was big into the game runescape. I really wanted it to be "awhisperinthedark" but it was taken already and I really didn't want to have number in my name. But after trying for a good hour with different variations I made mine darkvoice7 and had to settle with a number at the end which was my favourite number. Since then it's the one I use for all online games, and I use darkvoice8 for forums and stuff.
If we can get this trending and keep it trending then maybe we can get deej and cozmo to tell us how they got/came up with their names.
Edit: alot of these are really unique :-) it's cool to see how certain things outside of games can have an effect on how people made their names.
Edit2: over 150 replies wow! I honestly wasn't expecting that many :-) thanks to everyone for contributing. Im enjoying reading them, and I'm sure other people are too :-)

My high school friends say I have the personality of a squirrel, and a chick from homeroom called my Twinkle because of my real world nickname, so I told myself, why not combine both? And thus TwinkleSquirrel was born.

What do you think inspired my username? ;3

2 RepliesOk boys and girls gather around. Back when Runescape was crackalackin I used the random name generator and it came out with 'ghostsnow1'. I then got an xbox, and literally all I played on there was CoD zombies. I forgot to mention I am part german and I speak very basic german. So considering my game choices on xbox (or lack there of) I named myself xXUberZombieXx (keep in mind I was around 12) when I switched back over to PC I decided to stick with my PC routes and used ghostsnow1 for some time. It just didn't click though. I had made a brand new computer so I thought I should use a brand new name. So I made UberGhost. When I got a ps4 for Destiny alone I brought over UberGhost, and that, boys and girls, is how I got my name. [spoiler]This took -blam!-ing forever too type[/spoiler]

Well, back in 10th grade I was a bit of a fat kid, and one night my buddies and I were all stoned and they decided to give me the nickname 'whale' (dicks, I know), and it stuck. There was a kid a couple years older than me who was also fat and they called him halestorm cause his last name was hale. Thus, another hazy night and Whalestorm was born haha we all have weird nicknames. Tuna, dildo, etc haha
