When I was younger my neighbors were hippie pot smokers, and they always referred to it as cannabis instead of weed because they knew I wouldn't know what it meant. I never knew what they were talking about, they'd just tell me things like "cannabis is magical" or it's relaxing and the key to life and that type of thing, and when they said it, I always heard canavis. I had no idea what it was, but if canavis was the key to life, I wanna be canavis! Right?
