When I first came to this game I hated pvp, I hated halo pvp.
I was one of those players who came onto the forums moaning about the Thorn bounty, then a good guardian gave me some tips and advice, which to my credit I already knew deep down.
So I set to work trying to improve my game and I believe I have. Now before people go running off to check my stats they are still bad but for me I have improved a lot.
I have no problems with anything that is so say OP in pvp, like sols said its how the game is supposed to be.
Every nerf in pvp takes away from the pve game and for me being a guardian is all about being OP.
Bungie please please consider your pve community,
My experience of a hardcore pvp player is if it can kill you its OP, here's a list of OP things from some top destiny pvp streamers/players that I've heard or read:
The ram
Hand cannons
Lightning grenades
Shotguns
Fire bolt grenade
Sniper rifles
Arch bolt
Titan bubble
Bladedancer
Titan orbs
Fusion rifles
Warlock melee
Shoulder charge
Blink
The list goes on.
Things that I want nerfd:
Skiff turret
The architects
A lot of people don't seem to no how to lose with dignity.

As a whole people seem to forget that that multiplayer wasn't always meant to be so ..."hostile"(I guess that'll work), but it used to be more jokingly competitive " damn you got me, well guess I'll respawn " instead of " -blam!- this guy! they had to have cheated, no way could I die, and whats with supers instant killing me! AND Rocket Launchers no way should that explosion kill me!" And when Bungie didn't have the voice option in PvP at first I was glad" I don't have to listen to players like that( I still don't)" In a sense destiny's biggest problem is they're listening to people saying "fix it, fix it fix it, FIX IT!!!! make it so I die less" instead of letting it play out like they wanted it to, which is still functional. I would personally prefer if they would change the campaign than the Crucible or maybe have the changes trickle into the Crucible not the other way around. And yes I do die ....A LOT because of the blink+ shotgun strategy, but my solution " shoot them before they get close, or just use a super.... and if I miss, Oh well."

And Bungie you want a solution to Blink..... get rid of the radar

You basically summed up my BF4 experience. Once I stopped complaining and started trying to adjust my play I went from a .6 kd there to a 1. Would most likely be higher if I kept going. Now though I don't really care, and my try hard days are over for the most part. I never took Destiny's PvP that serious though, and saw it as mostly unbalanced crap. Not because of OP junk, but rather the poor map design, lag, and cheaters.

Edited by devinespitfire: 8/24/2015 9:49:51 AMI enjoyed the first couple weeks of crucible, I always wanted it to be the old Quake or Perfect Dark (64)style multiplayer, fast paced but with supers, but you could bring your own guns to it, it was never too unbalanced there was always a way to kill that guy (assuming they weren't using Mythoclass) limited heavy ammo so they can't sit back the entire map with a rocket launcher(check), recharge grenades and orbs if they're playing as a team(check), cover so they can regain health as they are fighting( meh.... in some places)rewards to keep people playing( 60% of the time you get crap, 30% nothing, 5% a shader, 3% a legendary, and 2 % exotic...... give or take 30%)
