Not Quitting Destiny. I like it more
I'm not quitting Destiny and I preordered Taken King for Xbox One. I'm not upset about Xur selling the Gjallarhorn last weekend even though I currently have 3 Gjallarhorns upgraded to 365. I do not hate Bungie, Activision, Deej or Cozmo. I'm having a great time making new friends and playing this ever evolving game. I refuse to be brought down by the hater posts of Darkness in the forums. I stand for the Light and the hope of more good times in the future of Destiny.
Yippee 100% increase in Vault space. Emblems, Shaders, ships, sparrows get moved to kiosk. Lots more good stuff shown in today's Bungie twitch stream.

I'm not quitting either and also have preordered taken king on Xbox one. I am however taking a couple of weeks off before it drops to avoid burnout.

Amen. It has it's fair share of problems, but it's more engrossing then CoD or any other MMO Fps. I like destiny too!

I'm actively joining parties of my friends on PSN playing ESO, Rocket League or GTA and trying to convince them to buy TTK but so far I've only run into one person who's making the purchase. [spoiler]Le Sigh[/spoiler]

Activision deserves our disgust, if not out hate for what the made Bungie do to us. It is not the first time Activision have shafted its players, and it will not be the last time either. World of Warcraft players will know what I am yakking on about. As for The Taken King, I myself will be getting it, I have even put it at the top of my list, before Halo 5. And I was looking forward to that for months. Forums are a way to vent, and let other people know how you feel. A lot of die hard fans for Destiny, and if Bungie or Activision have don some thing we Destiny players do not like, the forum is the place to say it. But of all the negatives this game has, there are far more positives.

4 RepliesUnfortunately, I will be quitting Destiny. I had an epiphany last night while another Guardian & I were attempting POE 32. I suck. I couldn't get through it. I really played terrible. Can't be done. So, no point in buying TTK. I may pick away at bounties or something once in a while, but I may try my hand at Fallout 4 when it arrives.

Destiny is fun, that i cannot deny, its also a good game for me, i had fun but the thing is if we continue to defend titles like these from publishers like Activision and such, then good games would be freaking rare in the future, what theyre doing is good but not right so some people needs to stand up and change this but those die hard fans of destiny are too blind/immature to understand it, its not just the price, but the whole scheme itself is the problem, dont tell me your gonna pay 80$ per year for this game and in other countries in europe its much more than that. Theres a limit to what people can accept and some had already hit theyres.

I do understand ppl's thoughts on Destiny 1 being just a Beta experiment, and the stuff about content broken apart for DLCs and such…well I personally don't pretend to understand game development and decisions required to pursue certain content over other, and what makes the cutting room floor in the final product. Most entertainment forms are much more massive when they begin and are edited down for consumption. they sell director's cut editions of films all the time (same idea - selling same movie twice, but including content already filmed and cut for the original release). I enjoy being involved in a living game development - it seems that most ppl's complaints on this are based on the cost associated, but I decide what to spend my own money on, and I chose to buy TTK, but not the collector's edition because I don't find that worth the $20. to each their own. don't think I've had more entertainment playing a game with other ppl for a long time (I remember sharing controllers around my Atari after all) and it is a good thing - opinion.

1 ReplyAlready struggling about TTK, took a few day's off with my fireteam and CAN'T FREAKING WAIT ANYMORE... Love this game tho it's bad for other developers since i upgraded to the Xbone and only game i own so far (since February) is Destiny LOL.. I have met some great guys in this game which I have a killer time playing with! Thnx Bungie. And keep building. U are doing a great job so far (in my opinion)...
