Do you REALLY like heavy weapons? Do you want to use ONLY your LMG?
Here you go. Works great for Dragon Strikes and is still very competent in Nightfalls.
What you want:
-(Ascended) LMG with Surplus and FIELD SCOUT (Casket Mag if you cannot obtain Field Scout, can still work sometimes. Make sure you've got heavy ammo boots if you do not use Field Scout. Remember, if you need to you can reroll a pre HOW Jolder's Hammer. I use AAO with Counterbalance, and an option to toggle to high caliber rounds after loading 50 rounds into the mag. I do recommend a slow ROF LMG.)
-RUIN WINGS RUIN WINGS RUIN WINGS: Provide heavy ammo and plenty of strength.
-Weapons of Light: It works with your LMG to create unrivaled DPS.
-INTELLECT!!! and Strength, to trigger the Force Barrier perk
-Sniper Rifle with Surplus- who knew that Surplus increases ammo drops for all your weapons? Including your LMG!
-Max armor, followed by recovery, followed by agility- you won't be needing much agility. You'll be near your bubble spitting lead into everything. Recovery is useful, but the bubble gives you some artificial recovery.
-Red Death: This might sound like a weird suggestion. It's not a hand cannon or scout rifle! Well tell you what. With this build, you'll literally be using your heavy weapon 90-100% of the time (multiple times, I've used exclusively my Solar AAO on the Nexus strike). So your primary should give you some utility that your actual primary won't offer- for Red Death, you can use it as an emergency tool to switch to when health is low. This works great since it has Single Point Sling. Then, just target a weak enemy, take him out and switch back to your LMG.
-Lift- Select the option that boosts agility.
-Suppressor Grenade- You won't be using your grenades very often, so you may as well have a high utility, high damage lifesaver. Any grenade could be used, but I find, for this build, Suppressors are very useful when you're up against, say, a Minotaur, or a group of Minotaurs.
-Bastion: This build is all about LMGs and Ward of Dawn, which improves LMG performance via WoL. So use that Ward as often as possible.
-Untouchable: Same idea as Bastion. It would be rivaled by Illuminated, but Illuminated is more of a burst perk, whereas this is more for long term. The real thing that makes this generally better for this build is the armor boost.
TARGET ARMOR PERKS
-Heavy Weapon Loader: Currently this can only be seen on gauntlets. Very rare ones at that. And Ruin Wings are more important than HWL. But if they're ever somehow on something other than gauntlets, go pick them up.
-Inverse Shadow: Increases defense (bubble) AND attack (weapons of light) for the game you're playing (PvE)
-Heavy Weapon Ammo: This is unnecessary if you've got Field Scout, since it would then only give you one more bullet. But if you don't have Field Scout, you really want this.
I highly recommend giving this a try. It's very effective, very fun, and make the Titan an actual Tank, capable of generating unrivaled long term DPS. Except for maybe an Obsidian Juju Voidwalker. But that is less reliable. If you want to be Rambo you want to be a battlewagon.
