I got my Gjallarhorn days after Xur left when he was selling it week 2 from a blue engram. Not only did I not have enough coins to buy, I also probably would have purchased the armor piece if I had them. A blue turning into an exotic was a significant anomaly that was patched when they made the backwards encryption impossible.
