Isn't the first mission on the moon "the dark below" about you going to the moon looking for a Guardia who went dark then you find his body, then his ghost which has had all the light removed?

Yeah, but it doesn't explain a whole lot on who the guy is I don't believe.

Unfortunately that is the same with the entire story line! Ghost revives you and tells you to kill everything.
