[b]Location-a small hotel in Tokyo Town,[/b]
[b]Georgi, Revy, and the hotel manager stand on the roof. Something just exploded as well. No one seems to be hurt, and the two investigators look at each other. Both knowing similar information.[/b]
(Open to all. But mainly a refresh for Georgi and Revy)

Up on the roof, Gregori shakes his head. There's a ringing noise in his ears, and he's sore from the concussive might of the explosion. Luckily, nobody seems hurt. He looks toward the manager. "Do you still want me to find out what happened?" he calls out.

Watching the manager run, Markov sighs. "I'll take that as a yes," he mutters. [i]I was about to go down a rabbit hole. A group of highly sophisticated individuals had just taken an armed man and left a mysterious message. Now I needed to find them to find the tenant.[/i]

[b]The message said something about man named "Sladky..." But the only Sladky is Cedyetica is the woman in mechanical armor who helped at the battle of Centra. And she is a strange woman...[/b] [spoiler]hey btw im just answering the question for ya.[/spoiler]

Looking away from the explosion, Gregori looks toward the source of the new voice. It's the girl from the room. "Some kind of holo device with a detonation timer," he explains. "Nasty piece of work, too."

"Apparently, the tenant just got volunteered for a job interview, and somebody named Sladky is involved," Gregori tells the girl. "I'm going to go ask some questions. Do you feel like tagging along?"

"oh yeah" she says with a smile. "If I had something better to do I wouldn't be here, what type of questions are you going to ask?"

"I figure that I'll start by asking about how a man was kidnapped in roughly two minutes, followed by why every public service announcement by a secret society is recorded by a demolitions expert," Markov says, before heading toward the ladder that goes back down into the building.

She follows close behind. "It could be possible he made it out, perhaps we could find signs of a pursuit somewhere, as for this Sladky, I'll run the name through every database I have available with me as soon as we reach the lobby. Perhaps one of the mafias down in the sewers knows something"

"The mafias are a group I like to avoid. It has something to do with my live-life-longer policy. That being said, you're not wrong," Gregori states dryly. He approaches an elevator and presses the switch. The down button lights up. "If you're that good with computers, why don't you see if you can pull footage from around the hotel? See if you can get a different angle on the tenants room, or maybe a getaway car. Look back over the past several days and find out if you can see anything like a van showing up again and again," he suggests.

She leans against the walls of the elevator as she straps on her Powerglove and hooks it up to her Tac Pad. "Plans to be executed this flawlessly must be rehearsed, planned, surely we'll find some sort of consistency in the footage. Whether a van or a man in a trench coat" Her powerglove comes to life as light begin to light up, with flicks and twitches she navigates the screen of her Tac Pad as she opens up the hotels data files. She loads up the video files and the guest log for the past few weeks. "Surveillance could also have been kept from within the hotel as well, could be one of the tenants nearby guests. I would also suspect the manager but seeing his apprehension I don't take him for much of a kidnapper"

"I owe him a favor. Why cash in a favor on something you have every reason to hope it fails? While you're searching, can you find me an address for Sladky? I want to find out what their connection is. Also, let's see if we can get a picture of the tenant without his mask," Markov says. "He's dressed up like a weirdo. Shouldn't be hard to spot him on the cameras."

"Well, obvious out of the way Sladkey is a surname, Andrew and Emily Sladkey, most likely siblings, 3 years apart with Emily being older. Andrew went missing ... a while ago apparently. Could that have been out tenant? Has to be, unless the hologram was refering to Emily" She scratches her head. "Anyone can conceal his identity with that get-up, that had to be Andrew Sladkey" digs through her data for more information on the Sladkeys.

"We're thinking along the same lines," Gregori agrees. "He was packing, and packing heavy. His sister might be able to tell us about his past, and why he might have disappeared - unless your fancy glove can do that, too." It's obvious that Markov doesn't understand the ins-and-outs of hacking. [i]The girl was smart. I had to give her that. Hopefully she could shed some light on Andrew Sladkey's mysterious life. With any luck, that would give us a clue of where to search.[/i]

[spoiler]Chaos gave me control of Revy for now[/spoiler] [b]Revy runs some numbers and questions through her database.[/b] "Got it. The Emily Sladky (yeah it isnt Sladk-E-y. Its Sladky.) lives in an old Observatory in the desert. Called Observatory-10. You coming with?"

"Let's go," Markov says, as the elevator comes to a halt. He steps out and moves toward the parking lot. "Which one is your's?"

[b]Revy walks to a black car? Not sure what she owns. Anyways. When you arrive at Observatory-10, it gives a strange impression. Its dome is half buried in the sand and the thing looks like its falling apart. But a droid stands by the entrance. Its got [i]Fawkes[/i] written on its chest. It looks at you, and a voice speaks through it. Like an intercom.[/b] "Come on in. When you enter just go through the elevator on the right. There is only one floor so.... It should be easy." [b]The door to the Observatory opens.[/b]

Gregori follows those instructions, though he remains on guard. He's already met with a large explosive today. It's hard not to feel on edge. He makes a mental note to try to stay out of the sand. It shouldn't clog up any of his augmetics, but it'd take a small eternity to get it out of every nook and cranny. "Emily?" he calls out, as he reaches the destination the instructions gave him.

[b]The "destination" is a large open cave. Generators and tesla coils fill the roof and qnd floor. Bridges connect to other bridges.... A metropolis of technology. In the upper right corner of the enormous cavern, a box with a glass pane sits. There is enormous rooms --you know what? Just look up "dwemer workshop", now make that into something like Sion from the Matrix movies. Anyways, a woman in a box-room to the right waves to you. Revy makes her way towards the box.[/b]

Gregori gives an appreciative whistle. It's an impressive display. He walks toward the box. "We've got a few questions about your brother Andrew," he says, to the person he presumes is Emily.

[b]Emily looks strange and hazy for a moment then frowns and begins to speak.[/b] "We grew up in Cylak. He moved here with his mentor, Henry Silryte, and then when Silryte died.... He took up his mentors name. Became Andrew Silryte. But he left recently. Not really anybody knows OR remembers his last name though.... Except maybe anyone who knew his mentor...but thats different. After the Psion uprising he left Cedyetica in search of a home. Why did you ask?" [spoiler]sorry but its really complicated... I probably should have added more posts to make it not so- OPEN IT ALL UP. Anyways. Vagantem IS Andrew Silryte... Also- the name on the photo was mispelled so just pretend the name is Vagantem... Anyways. Thats what he looks like mostly.... So forget the cape as well....things are weird... Just, thats the updated look of Vagantem....[/spoiler]
