I was on YouTube the other day and came across this video. In the video, the YouTuber had set up a fake profile on Facebook and with the permission of the parents, friended 3 young girls, pretending to be a 15 yr old boy. After a few days of talking to them, he asked them to meet him in a park, if he can come over to their house, and if he can drive them to his house. The result of the experiment is exactly what you think it would be. To sum it up: [spoiler]all three kids (even a 12 yr old) had met the YouTuber thinking he was a 15 yr old at the specified locations, where their fathers had also been waiting. IMO, that's actually pretty scary. Especially in a world where many kids are getting access to technology and social media... [/spoiler] So what do you think of this flood/off topic? With so many kids getting access to the Internet and to social media, Should there be better education about the dangers of social media in schools?
