Is the damage for Trials weapons going up or are they being left behind for new weapons as well?

How are the Year 1 Raids/PoE/ToO going to stack up to the new year? With Year 2 gear being, as to everyone's knowledge, superior to year 1 gear then there would be no reason to back into those events for Year 1 players and absolutely no plausible motivation for Year 2 players to jump into those events. With the reworked light level, how is it going to effect Year 1 Raids/PoE?

1 ReplyIf etheric light upgrades will not match future damage outputs will iron banner, Poe, and trials rewards be changed? Same goes for raids. Please give us a reason to revisit these events. They are by far the most fun and challenging things I've ever attempted in a game.
