I will be taking questions from the community on the stream, if you have any questions about The Taken King or something you are seeing on stream ask them here.
-
Are we going to the hangar as we didn't see what the vanguard quartermaster had, or the shipwright? Are we going to get some tasty new ships and sparrows?
-
I'm going to wipe my PlayStation account, will I still have the DLCs or will I have to buy them again?
-
Will I have the exotic schematic for any year 1 exotic that I may have already dismantled? Pre vault space patch I had to make some hard choices...
-
Are the exotics not getting a year two damage boost useless now?
-
When will Xbox 360 players be able to get the taken king
-
When will we be able to go on the dread naught will we have to complete a story first
-
Can we take our guardians back to the character creation menu once more?
-
When are you going to add a retailer to buy the digital edition for Xbox 360?
-
what weapons will be ascendable to year 2 levels (exotic) and which wont
-
Why have you still not added optional matchmaking when its literally already programmed in the game in certain aspects but blocked out in others, and everyone seems to be in agreement that this is the main thing we want? Why can't we ascend old legendaries when its literally as simple as using an item on a weapon like Etheric Light? Tell us why or admit you're screwing us on purpose. I'm sick of the CMs dodging important questions.
-
Optional matchmaking on everything?
-
When are we going to get more customization for our characters? If we want to make changes we have to start over again and lose all our faction levels.
-
Removing Year 1 exotics is a poor choice from a purely gameplay perspective and removes variety from the game. Unlike legendary items which can be replaced with a new version with bigger numbers and similar perks with little to no changes in gameplay, exotics carry with them unique perks which can functionally change playstyle and add variety to the way we play the game. So unlike replacing a +10 sword with a +20 sword in an MMO expansion, obsoleting Year 1 exotics is more like taking away skills and replacing them with different ones. Everyone would obviously be upset if the Gunslinger, Defender, and Voidwalker subclasses were removed after announcing the three new subclasses; it would take away major gameplay options from the player. Removing Year 1 exotics works in the exact same way on a smaller scale. Items like Pocket Infinity, Patience & Time, MIDA, or Saint-14 are irreplaceable in terms of function, and removing them removes available choices from the player. This isn't just about Gjallahorn being used as a crutch (after all, it can and will be nerfed), but rather about taking away content. An expansion should expand upon the gameplay options we have now so we can have an even wider arsenal of weapons and playstyles to choose from. We shouldn't be paying $40 to have content removed from our game.
-
Tell us more about materials. Will we still be able to buy resources.
-
Next time don't use it as a lame side joke for vault space when there were lots of legitimate questions. Damaged your credibility as a community manager in my opinion. #ttk

Edited by Bigjit539: 8/23/2015 6:15:57 AMOthers have said it but I think it deserves an answer. Why does Bungie continually flip flop on every DLC drop? Since vanilla, something different happens every episode. You say this is a 10 year game but what I'm seeing is no plan. No vision. Sure as hell no consistency. I never wanted etheric light in the first place. You guys brought it out, handcuffing us to the same shit again. You gave people the expectation. Now it's switching back to no upgrade path for year 1, with the exception of a few exotics. What gives? Does anyone over there actually know what the f#$k is going on? Right now you guys give the appearance of reskin masters, regurgitating the same or similar content/weapons over and over again. You want us to use different weapons but give us shank/dregs burn on the highest tier content. People use fatebringer/black hammer/gally because, frankly you've given us no compelling reasons/choices to change it up. Your competitive multiplayer uses peer-to-peer and is normally atrocious connection/lag wisely. Hackers/lag switching makes a mockery of ToO. The outright lies and misrepresentation (auto rifles nerfed by 2.5% and exotics go with you) don't lend a lot of credibility either. You want me to buy your DLC? When do you guys start living up to your end of the bargain?

What a waste of a thread. "Hey community, I'm going to pretend we care by giving you a way to ask your questions live. But what I'm really going to do is mention the god damn vault 4-5 times. Suck it community."
-
He's just gonna ask the same question over and over again. Just like vault space.
-
Has anyone at Bungie actually beaten Xylar?
-
WHAT TIME WILL TTK BE PLAYABLE
-
Custom games, custom games, custom games!
-
What was the reasoning to not make all exotics upgradable? The Bungie weapon designers have not been hitting the mark with their exotics in the last two DLC's. In weapon patch 2.0 NLB, necrochasm, lords of wolves, and Hardlight needed to be fixed. Most players do not use dragons breath, queens bow, or dregs promise. Deej commented that the new exotics are amazing. If that is the case, did Bungie terminate and replace their weapon designers for TTK? Give the existing player base a bone and make all exotics upgradable.

I missed the livestream but don't want to watch a youtubers highlights, rather the entire thing. Any way I can watch the full stream
-
they should show off the sword in the dreadnought.
-
Will bungie update servers or add dedicated ones?
-
Can we get a list of the exotics that will be moving on to year two?
