Because that's laughably low compared to industry standards for cosmetic items. A rare knife skin in CS:GO can cost about $200-$500. A hat in TF2 alone can cost $10-$20q

It's shocking how people try to justify getting ripped off by pointing to other instances where they got ripped off more significantly. This industry is becoming so -blam!-ed up.

all those are skins. the class items actually have values that can enhance gameplay (quicker leveling on the class items). rolling a knife skin in cs:go doesn't affect gameplay.
