Will there be any reason to do year 1 raids if the weapons/armor will be obsolete? Besides just doing it for a chance at an exotic bringing me to my next question, will year 2 exotics drop from year 1 raids

If I ever feel compelled to run VoG or CE again for any reason other than nostalgia, I consider that a mistake.

They've said the old raids are being tweaked I believe. That'll be great.

I believe the answer is yes, because not only will you receive exotics but the weapons that drop for the raid help you with the raid specifically like how the voc helps in vog... and the same goes on for pvp some people I know use raid weapons for pvp. There are no level advantages so some weapons will still be fun to use. So overall y1 weapons will still be useful for y1 activities

Year 2 weapons will not drop from year 1 raids except PS exclusives.
