Will the past raids be useless once the Taken King is out?
(By this i mean, gear/armor.)
If not, then Previous raids are useless. I guess it can be another version of a nightfall. And i assure you, i don't think raids are supposed to be that kind of thing.

Since light levels do not matter it gives you the option of what gear you can use. So if you enjoyed previous raid gear since the light level means something else now you can now get the gear you like on your character. As for exotics and guns I am not 100% sure on that! Hope that helped!

Light level is still very much important. It's just been separated from overall Rank.
