Has Treyarch done the impossible with black ops 3? New Zombies Trailer!
Guys I'm shocked that the black ops 3 beta is actually good. Movement is a huge improvement over AW, it feels right. Map design is quality. The gore is awesome.
Time to kill is longer that AW, is perfect. I'm getting a MW2 T2K vibe.
Netcode:
I'm not noticing many BS moments online. I'll need more time with this as the majority of McDonald's wifi connections would still be downloading the game.
Has treyarch done the impossible, invigorated a dying franchise? This could be one of the best cod in years. Zombies should be awesome too, how do you guys feel about the beta?
EDIT: Day 2, so the lag begins. Game was running great yesterday, today the net-code is a complete mess. I'm guessing the servers are stressed, or all the dial-up connections are out in force. :)☺😄
EDIT: I hear a lot of xbox players are having problems with freezing, gun camo not working. Possible fix - Try deleting the game, reinstalling as this has helped other players. If that doesn't work use a second profile.

13 RepliesI've skimmed a little ways down in this thread, and I must say, how was no-one complaining about the starter shotgun?! It got tweaked tonight, but holy -blam!-balls was that thing strong!!! Some of the kills I got before Treyarch hit it with the fast-response nerf bat were downright unfair O.o

Idk it feels like MW2 all over again with hit markers galore and I hate seeing the kill cam because of course out of the 30 missed bullets it's not until they flinched after I hit them they get a body shot and kill me. Guns feel meh, and so does the specials. Maybe it's because I play hardcore on CoD back in the day but I can't see how people would choose this over destiny.

1 ReplyI hope this game is better when it fully releases in November. As of now it is really stressful playing solo and without friends. Sorta like AW and Ghosts; fun to play in a party but not solo.

1 ReplyEdited by TieaMiea: 8/28/2015 7:59:59 AMI've had to delete and reinstall about 4 times because of the constant freezing (at one point I couldn't even get past the main menu) and the random 400 ping jumps. On the bright side: I like how they finally added a bit of gore to call of duty. The jumping isn't anything like Advanced Warfare. People can't superman out of my bullets & give me a boot to the face anymore. I'm glad to say that I've had more ups than downs with this game so far.

3 RepliesGame still suffers from basic issues seen in all the CoD games made after 3. Most notably the flinch system still exists, time to kill is still stupid short and guns have relatively low recoil. Why are they still there?

8 RepliesTreyarch should always be given the first turn at trying something new in the franchise. When they try something new with the franchise they do it the best. Sledgehammer and InfinityWard are better at improving games, not making them if you know what I mean.
