Will we be able to skip cutscenes from the outset or will we be forced to sit thru them on first play through?

It's already been confirmed to have option to skip cutscenes

yes but lots of other games only allow skipping on subsequent play throughs and seeing as bungie has put a lot of effort into the story this time (allegedly) i'd just like clarification so i can plan my group (as some want to experience the whole story thing while some others just want to burn thru it and get to the raid).

Well I mean, why would you want to skip them the first time? Unless you're doing it for the third time on your third character, I guess you'd want to. Otherwise, I don't see why.

I understand that i am in the VAST minority, but i play this game for the end game challenge and am not in the slightest bit interested in story or lore.

Yeah I'm the same I've never really got into a games story like I have with books or films.
