I cannot prove it is correct but the results with me have been positive. To increase your chances to get Crux of Crota, try: - Run on hard mode first. - Have equiped: A Crota End item (like Hunter's Crota Cloak), Ho Gloo shader, Crota Spaceship, Crota's End Emblem, Crota's weapons before Crota dies. I've been using the above technique everytime I run Crota and got 3 Cruxes so I am a believer. I hope it helps and you get lucky.

I wonder if that's because of the loot system on Crota that is supposed to take into account what you already have. I'll give it a shot sometime! Thanks for the advice!
