They can still play, just not any of the new content. This is how it always works.

Same as before. You can't obtain the gear that comes from the new raid, but you'll still level to 40, and probably get some better gear from the tower. But why would anyone want to keep playing the old content now the new stuff has arrived?

Because they do t want to be screwed out of $40 and another season pass for a few levels they'll be expected to replay 1,000 times.

I can't find this conversation to refresh my memory of why I said this. I imagine it was another person telling me what to do with my money. I'm tired of all the 'don't waste your money on the taken king' crap. Now I have someone tell me I work at McDonald's. People are really concerned with other people's financial situation in these forums. Lol.
