Crota is hive Oryx is hive Oryx's army is taken. The taken consists of all races (fallen, hive, Vex, and cabal) I believe. But they're just under some sort of mind control from Oryx.

Right, but what I'm saying is that Crota has a few strong resemblances to the Taken. I'm wondering if this was intentional.

I don't think you understand. The Taken army consists of many different races. The only difference between a taken, let's say, vandal, and a regular vandal is that the taken vandal will have a whitish glow, and have a new ability. I don't see how Crota can have any resemblances.

I'm not saying: "Crota taken confirmd mlg 360 noscope." I'm just saying he looks like a bit like the Taken. Which I found strange because Crota is Oryx's son.

I don't get how he looks taken. I don't understand at all. How can he look like a taken when: 1) They all look extremely different. And 2) He looks nothing like any of them, except for the taken knights I guess.

Uhh, because he's supposed to resemble a knight? And he looks like a Taken Knight? Because he's all whitish blue?
