- [b]DOUBLED VAULT SPACE!!!!!![/b]
- Emblem, Exotic, Ships, Shader collections,
- 40 Levels to level up by EXP,
- Light level will be Defense and Attack into one stat,
- Stats (intellect etc.) have more detailed info like "cooldown" time.
- You can track your bounties!
- You can finish bounties without going to the tower,
- Spark of Light boost your new character to level 25!
- You can pick the weapon you want to show in the tower,
- Class items are useful now,
- Faction packages are GUARANTEED LEGENDARY GEAR!!
- Higher chance to get a shader from packages etc.
- If you have a specific shader you will have a higher chance to get a different one!
- Exchange materials for reputation in factions,
- Nightfall tier rewards from 1 weekly bounty!
- You can earn how many marks you want(limit is 200 but when you use them you can play more and collect them again and again)
- If you earned a specific exotic in year 1 you have the upgraded version waiting for you in the EXOTIC COLLECTION machine!
- You can buy legendary engrams from Cryptarch!
- INFUSE! You can "upgrade" year-2 weapon by consuming other legendary weapon. Upgrade = increase attack number!
- Sword Weapon in the heavy slot,
- Motes of Light can be used to upgrade weapons in the Taken King,
- Artifacts will require Lv40 in order to use,
- Only Year Two legendaries create Legendary Marks. Year One make shards,
- Vanguard, Crucible, and One Pledged Faction gain Reputation all at once,

So now they implemented the obvious solution to the vault space problem with paged inventories. A solution I wrote about in october 2014! And whz the -blam!- only two pages? And why no categories or sorting options? They want to sell us two more pages of items with the next DLC? Bungie devs are either incompetent or asshats who sell you cripleware so they can sell you a 'solution'!

8 RepliesThe thing I'm curious about is the rebuying of our exotics: 1: Do we get them with all the perks unlocked if we had that progress unlocked previously? - Not to be confused with the year 2 versions of the year 1 exotics where the exotic Perk itself is unlocked from the get go. 2: If you buy lets say a MIDA from the collections for the 1 exotic shard and 2500 glimmer, decide I hate this gun (why would you? Lol) and shard it.. Do you get that exotic shard back?

3 RepliesSo, it might make sense to dismantle all exotics now, ( you will have them anyway in the Exotic Collection machine ) and start collect everything legendary, so that you get more exchange materials later?...Just my 2C

7 RepliesSo how does infusion work with our current raid weapons and gear? If it has to be of the same year and of higher value, how is it even possible to infuse lets say VoC if your current one is maxed at 365 (160) to a higher power level? I watched Datto's video on it but all he really talks about is Year 2 weapons and attack power levels, nothing about how our current gear coincides with the new infusion process.

This completely changes the ENTIRE game, and they are really separating year 1 and year 2 gear. Looks like the Taken King Legendary Edition is the true Destiny, and we've just paid for a beta.

7 RepliesHalf of that looks like patch stuff that doesn't warrant purchasing an expansion. I'm hoping they outline what is and is not in the expansion, like they did with the last two. I can't imagine they keep the same code for a shader drop rate just because you haven't purchased the expansion.

11 RepliesAm I the only one [i]slightly[/i] disappointed that we start at level 34? I mean I can understand light level keeps building afterwards, but we'll be lvl 40 in the first couple of days.... Again, I understand this because most of the gear requires lvl 40, but I feel like we'll miss out on a large chunk of gear and weapons because we'll be focused on all that legendary gear right off the bat. I'm in two minds about it, and I'm not complaining, but I think I'm going to make a new character so I can get a 'fuller' experience.

2 RepliesEdited by Devious_Melons: 8/20/2015 8:14:08 AMMy guess is that you can bump all exotics up to the next attack lvl by the kiosk, but it could just rotate on a weekly basis I believe ascension for exotics still exist because of the game informer reveals and one of the devs saying [quote]there will be multiple ways your character will become stronger[/quote] But I think ascension only works on lvl 40 Just speculation
