Except you can buy all the stuff that requires a specific rank. Any ships or shaders you have received are removed from the drop table so you have a higher chance to get stuff you don't have.

You get the ability to buy any year two exotics that you have from year one. I thought that was pretty nice. If you don't like what you see wait a couple weeks after release and see how it is.

It means that you think you deserved something more than new players which I've been trying to point out that they, the new players, do not get any more better stuff than you do and you even have a head start already. The Crota amd Gjallarhorn part is just to ppint out that even if you didn't beat them or you bought something doesn't mean that you are less worthy than any other players. New players deserved every bit of content and this whole leveling system of faction ranking doesn't give them any more advantage than you do. Again you lose nothing at all from this new system regarding the rewards. If some of new players lucky enough to get revenent shader at rank 4 , well, good for them that's RNG for you.

Each rank you were rewarded with a package, a chance for RNG based rewards and that's it. The higer rank doesn't mean the higer reward it was only more chance for you to get what you want or not just like buying a lottery. Each rank requires 25000 rep and it doesn't multiply. Think carefully you don't get higher reward than anyone else. Nobody gets higher reward than you. Your rank carries over means that you don't have to start from the ground up to buy faction items but new players do. You lose nothing. Nobody gains more than you. Read slowly think about it carefully before whining.

The only thing that changed was the way you gain reputation. You don't have to wear class item of that faction in your class item slot anymore. You pledge allegience to them and it lasts a week and that's it. The rewarding system still the same. What is your problem?

Yeah and if they had that at start that would change the what faction class items people wore for the entire -blam!-ing year of gameplay. You seriously can't be this dumb...

They change the way to gain reputations from wearing faction class item that took you class item slot to wearing an invisible badge that free up the slot for somthing else, the rewarding systems are still the same. It doesn't hurt old players at all. And you keep shifting your argument.

Let's say you're now at rank 10 Dead Orbit. You already did received all the packages for climbing up the rank, right? And now the rank carries over from year one. You can continue ranking up just as you did and receive the new packages. You lose nothing. Do you understand now?

For some reason you think being level 10 dead orbit means anything. You don't get shit for being level 10 dead orbit.

You already got the packages! Every time your rank goes up you received a package from that faction. You already got shit from it, I repeat, read carefully, you already got rewarded for doing so. And when TTK goes live your rank carries over you have instant access to new shits and you can continue ranking up as usual to get the new packages just like you did the whole year. Which part of this did you not understand?

And? They completely changed the way factions work. When they changed commendations you got rep from it. When they change factions you get......shit. Great job leveling up to 20! This scrub who just got the game will get that shader you've been trying to get in a day.
