Only thing I am irritated about is:
a.) the ability to only upgrade a few of the Year One Exotics
b.) the fact that we still do not know most of the Year One Exotics that will be moving forward with us (Bungie should have been more transparent about this)
Other than that, it looks like Bungie is making a lot of good improvements to the game!

Edited by netherslayer777: 8/19/2015 7:15:10 PMI believe they stated in the stream that the ability to upgrade weapons like that is withheld to Year 2 Exotics/Legendaries, thus being the reason behind having those new versions of old Exotics available. Your point on the staggered release is probably correct - thanks for that. I also agree - this was a great reveal; I hope you don't think I was hating on it/whining.

It's all good man, just trying to help out. Not sure about the Year 2 Exotics, but that's my guess. As far as year 1 Exotics upgrading, I understand where you're coming from, and now I can say I'm just confused. It wasn't very clear the way they described it and since they only used a legendary as an example, we don't REALLY know yet... Good catch.
-
I'm guessing they're making different versions of the missing exotics that might be both more balanced and more powerful. We'll see. Either way, this was a great reveal.
-
It was not they need to be straight with us
-
About what, exactly? I'm not sure what you're talking about
-
They still have not told us exotics upgrade paths. Should we upgrade all exotics now, etc etheric light?
-
Edited by Gamer1stClass: 8/19/2015 8:49:21 PMExotic shards might still be the way to go, it seems. Plus, weapon stats are getting reset, and because of the infusion mechanic, etheric light might become obsolete.
-
They're resetting all stats for new gear when TTK comes around. We should still be able to upgrade them using exotic shards.
-
He wants a detailed list of all the exotics that will be upgrade-able in year two, not a vague statement such as, "we are only bringing some of the exotics over."
-
And to that I say just wait it out. If it isn't there, shard it for a new version of another exotic.
-
I don't understand why they have to dance around every issue rather than just coming out and saying "this is how it is". Is it any wonder many of us do not trust, nor have any faith at all in Bungie?
-
How did they not? They went and showed us
