So we have to re-level our year 1 exotics again!? Not all year 1 exotics are upgradeable to year two stats!? That's a lot of work just to do it again......
Also, Can we make crypt arch levels more relevant? For example, allowing us to decrypt certain engrams ourselves after reaching a certain crypt arch level!

No, you just have to infuse them. Meaning you need a legendary item of better attack or defense. The year 2 versions are different versions of the gun.

I take it you saw the stream, but didn't hear a thing, the exotics we have now stay the same, but if you delete one and want to use it again, then you have to re-level it, but if you want the year two version then you have to level it, and it's not re-leveling as it's not the same version, Year Two's have new attributes.
