Will my gear and weapons have their defense and damage numbers lowered when TTK arrives?, if that's the case what's really why do I still need to play, might as well wait for TTK and start all over from there.

The number on your gear will be lowered but they will function exactly the same.

yeah, but for how long, they already said year one weapons wont be as strong as year two, but it seems only a couple of exotic weapons and gear will have a year two upgrade, what about the rest, and by the looks of it Gjallarhorn is pretty much getting killed in every possible way, it doesn't even have a year two version.

And the current gear you have especially any gear you have specifically for crucible will still be usable in the regular crucible where all gear advantages such as level and defense from your gear do not matter.

So in other words, most of the year one exotics will also be turned into scrap, thanks Bungie.

It has already been stated year 1 exotics will be up-gradable but there has been no real information on how exactly we will upgrade them other then just getting a drop. Legendary wise most year one gear after awhile will be replaced by better year 2 gear.

The video showed how some year one exotics will have a year two version, there's your upgrade, but it isn't every exotic.

That is true, I will not deny that but I really hope most exotics are transferred because it was stated all current exotics will not become obsolete a few weeks back but also that was in an article that was not printed by bungie. players I think will be devastated if Gjally cant be updated lol.

Gjallarhorn isn't the only one, I have every single exotic weapon and gear (well only the good gear anyway, so many exotic stones thanks to the nightfall), pretty much 90% of it will be dust.

Yeah, I have all the exotics to, some of them I really could not care to much about because I never use them but still, players grinded for a lot of these exotics it would suck if they turned into garbage weapons.

Legendaries are done and done, but I didn't see how I can upgrade year one exotics though, is the only way to get an upgrade if it already has a year two version?
