Looks like the beta finally comes to an end? But why should I pay 40€ for a product I allready payed 100€ for and never got?
So now they implemented the obvious solution to the vault space problem with paged inventories. A solution I wrote about in october 2014! And whz the -blam!- only two pages? And why no categories or sorting options? They want to sell us two more pages of items with the next DLC? Bungie devs are either incompetent or asshats who sell you cripleware so they can sell you a 'solution'!

I endorse this. I have an utterly stupid amount of hours in Destiny year 1. This is the equivalent of a "hard reset" for the games meta. It genuinely feels like I paid to play and spend precious time in a BETA!!! TTK is what the game SHOULD have been at launch. I am as serious as cancer when I assert this. I have lots of disposable income. And I don't think I will get back to TTK any time soon, if at all.

Goodbye.

-
I thought the same thing.. then I thought back to the time when I played cod every year, I paid 69.99 for a new game every year and didn't complain once.. 40$ is a deal in my books
-
Never played COD. I played Quake, Unreal Tournament, Halfelife DM and FPS like Tron 2.0 and Kyle Katarn Star Wars saga.
-
It's all done just to hear you cry about it.
-
Don't buy it then
-
The solutions are actual coming free. Your €40 payment buys you: New Strikes All gear with the Taken King symbol New Subclasses New destination (The Dreadnaught) The Taken King's Story Missions/Quests New Crucible maps Possibly the new game modes Possibly the last six XP levels. Everything else - Vault pages, story reorganization, quests and bounties, collections, exp leveling to 34, Light Level change, etc, will affect all players regardless of how many DLCs and/or Expansions you have. Unless they cut you off from the game completely if you don't buy The Taken King, but I would hope they would have said something about that already. It is an expansion not a new game, after all. It's just that many of the new changes are easier to roll out as part of a big release like this.

Yea, I too have said that adding pages would fix the problem. Bungie themselves said that the old generation of consoles meant they couldn't display so much on the screen at once... so DOUBLE PAGES WAS THE OBVIOUS SOLUTION GOD DAMN IT!
-
I don't believe the old console generation is the culprit here. The problem is more likely to be the database connection. Bungie seems to handle everything on the backend side. That's why every use of consumables can take ages during a fight. Maybe the older machines are not good at handling so many database connections simultaniously.
-
I don't think you'll have to buy ttk to get the 2.0 update. Not entirely sure though
-
-
I'd just go with asshats...
-
Lol watch it! The desticles will get mad
-
That's a lot of hours poured into a beta you don't like
-
Edited by Saxifraga: 8/19/2015 9:53:54 PMPiss off if you only have ad hominems and no argument to make.
-
Hey you obviously liked the game a lot, so why do you think you didn't get your monies worth?
-
Oh please, that's an awful argument and you know it. Destiny is designed to be addictive. It is no different from those trash free-to-play mobile games, except you are paying more at once instead of micro transactions.
-
Yea, that's called dlc. And lots of games have them
-
But most games entice you into getting the DLC so you could keep having fun with the game, not grind endlessly. Also, most games don't take content out of the base game to resell to you as DLC.
-
Any game can become a grind, and this game IS enticing people to buy the dlc, that's what the month of reveals Is for. Cut content is nothing new either, most notable instance is the day 1 dlc for mass effect 3
-
Why is it that when shit gets done that ppl actually -blam!-ing want everyone thinks they're entitled to more, just be grateful they actually fixed the vault in the first place
-
Boo fvckin hoo
-
Because you've already spent 42 days playing so you mines well see what else comes from a 40 expansion
-
100 covered the beta, 40 bucks covers the next beta, beta. beta. beta. quite being a poor sap. shit costs money
