Gjallarhorn is NOT USELESS YOU GUYS.
It can still be infused and taken to the damage cap. the upgrades to exotics just added/modified perks like Suros and the Last Word.

- If you earned a specific exotic in year 1 you have the upgraded version waiting for you in the EXOTIC COLLECTION machine! that is from the op. I didn't see the twitch because of work but that makes it sound like they will be able to be upgraded.

Not only will it be useless, Deej even said "what will be the new Gjallarhorn for year two?", so yeah it as good as dead.

What deej meant was when he said that was is what will be the new coveted weapon as gjallahorn is now. So it's not what's replacing gjallahorn but what will have the hype that gjallahorn has and so on.

Only Year 2 weapons have infusion, and I didn't see an upgraded Gjallarhorn under Year 2. It looks like they are leaving it behind, that is too funny!
