No what I heard is if you have 100 crucible marks and 100 vanguard marks you'll have 200 legend marks . Or if you have 200 crucible

They said crucible marks and vanguard marks will be turned into commendations. You can get legendary marks from other places such as daily, weekly and breaking down legendary weapons/armor. The legendary mark cap appears to be 200 across all 3 characters. So by your explanation, we would end up with up to 1200 legendary marks, and that would be well over cap

I couldn't find a definitive answer to that, or what (if anything) can be done with year one legendaries.... I know year two legendaries can be infused to upgrade power, but didn't catch anything about year one....
