The argument that it will make it difficult for people to find a coordinated team via LFG is valid, as is the concern over AFK players. These cons, however, are completely and totally insignificant when compared to the benefits. I may play my first raid (along with a staggering percentage of the community) and will without question have an easier time with the nightfalls I often struggle through solo, or with a single friend. I truly hope Bungie implements OPTIONAL matchmaking. It would make the game something totally different for me.
