How are you going to tell us we can't use LEGENDARIES after Taken King until we get to level 40? Is that real? Are you taking my 3 34's down to 0 or 20 or what?

Did you not watch the reveal today? You'll be the max level that you've achieved in year one going into year two. Looking at your acc You'll have to level up 6 levels to get to 40. Ascending new weapons and gear now has you sacrificing other weapons and gear to level it up. They show existing weapons at under 200 light, new weapons that are ascendable by the new method starting at 280. Which means that's not there max level, so will you get to use new legendaries in the first hour of launch? Maybe. Watch the level of Deej and the new weapon he picked up, if he equipped it or not

You will start TTK at whatever level you currently are. All guns that previously had a level 20 requirement will continue to have a level 20 requirement. Increasing level requirement for new guns is exactly what you're supposed to do. Bungie got this part right.

Plus to get to level 40, all you need is xp, you had to do that at the start anyway from 0-20
