Destiny 2 will receive an update tomorrow. Players will be required to log in to Destiny 2 again after installing the update. Please stay tuned to @BungieHelp for updates.
The problem with all these neverending rebalances and tweaks and the inconsistent, incoherent DLC changes is that there is no predictability. Bungie is all over the place and players can't predict how things are going to change, even directionally. How can players make any decisions about how to allocate their time in the game when the game is in an ongoing state of major flux.
I like the game. I will probably continue to play it casually if the Taken King isn't a complete mess, but are people really going to grind and grind for x or y weapon when it or its weapon class may be garbage in a month? Better yet in three months it will become obsolete, but then in a couple more months, it's relevant again, oh wait just kidding, a couple months later it's even more irrelevant than it was the first time. And all the while you kept reupgrading it.
In a game where gear makes a noticeable difference in PVP and where gear can take a shit ton of time to get (thanks to the great RNGesus), there really should be more predictability. The lack of predictability is why I am just saying screw it. No grinding. I'll keep playing if the game can truly stay interesting, RNG grind aside, but I'm not optimistic.
