This one seemed to be focused on defensive abilities. Maybe like an additional shield. Probably also some sort of range attack like hunters forward shooting arcblade.

Maybe it's swipes? Each point of ammo = one attack and the attacks have to connect. Or maybe the sword is a basic melee with extended range and the ammo is a super charge like when you have the blade of crota.
