Some insight on the exotic upgrades mentioned in today's stream
Below is what I posted on a separate forum topic a couple of hours ago. Reading all of the confusion/panic about this topic on the forums is what drove me to share my thoughts with the rest of the community.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but going through the stream again, is the little "infusion" symbol at the bottom left of the weapon's details screen for the weapon they "infused" at the end of the stream not the same exact symbol that is on the weapon's details page for the "regular" Suros Regime shown in the Exotic Blueprints Vault from just a few minutes prior? If they are in fact the same exact symbols, then i think one would be safe to assume that the "regular" Suros Regime from Year 1 is able to be "infused" just like all of the other, newer Year 2 weapons. Also, the "regular" Suros Regime shown had a required level of only 20, whereas the newer Suros and all of the other newer Year 2 weapons showed a required level of 40. Now, I know I don't know for sure how the new number system for attack and defense values works but I would guess that a weapon with a level requirement of only 20 would inherently have a lower base attack value than a weapon with a level requirement of 40. These are my opinions based off of my observations, do with them what you will.
