Weighing this choice right now. Rep might be more valuable than the mats because ghosts now have perks that will highlight those mats in the world. Farming should be less tedious... Also, Y2 gear and weapons require less mats to upgrade gear, similar to HoW stuff, and not like the old gear from Vanilla Destiny or DB, so you won't have to farm too much (hopefully).
