I've played a lot and have enjoyed this game. I agree with leaving year 1 stuff behind the excitement that I had looking for gear is gonna be awesome to have again to be honest. And all new exotics to look for. In HoW the fact that I simply used the same weapons and had no desire for the new weapons because fatebringer was so good for example ruined the grind for me. I don't have to do bounties to lvl up new weapons and don't have to do Poe because it's faster to wait for the weekend and get etheric light from trials in just a few hrs. 9 in one night compared to just 6 in countless hrs. I'm excited about the possibilities. My opinion is what ultimately matters to me soooo I'm excited about new stuff.

Maybe then people will stop using the same set up

I'm with you! I've been pumped for The Taken King since we learned of its coming. I will gladly #Vault my precious Gjallahorn and Ice Breaker, and Word of Crota and Black Hammer, and search for new amazing weapons

Eh, it's like starting New Game Plus in Borderlands or Borderlands 2. All of a sudden that fire shotgun you've been dragging around doesn't look so amazin' after you've got a shotgun that fires rockets. It'll suck losing the exotics that BUNGIE told me were unique special snowflakes among weapons and armor, but I'll get more. If it helps, people, think of this as a Destiny remake.

I'm just waiting a few weeks to 1. Scrape up money off the sidewalk 2. To get the review copies out I want it from what I've seen, but that's what happened with HoW, and it was pretty much a shiny turd

Agreed. I'm hyped for TTK and I really don't care about all the stuff being left behind. Hunting for gear is a big part of the fun and I'm looking forward to acquiring new legendaries and exotics and getting to know how to best build my toons. Also, Warlocks get Force Lighting now, so everything else could suck and I still would be happy.

I agree the stuff in the stream was awesome. I'm pumped just like I have been for the rest of it. I remember I didn't expect much from the game when I first got it. But it exceeds my expectations every time. Keep up the good work bungie!

I honestly feel like it's mostly young kids and/or teenagers that are the ones crying about not being able to use the same weapons for 10 years, and they're going around saying they're completely useless (won't be in Regular crucible, all guns will be viable) and acting like Bungie is dismantling our weapons and armour for us. I will still be using in Crucible, and always be keeping various items that I've collected over the year, including one of every exotic, a set of Titan raid armour from CoG & CE, my Supremacy and etc.

Im with you buddy. The only change im asking for from Bungie is for them to dedicate real effort into fixing their servers. If they do that im happy to stay with destiny for as long as they make content for it. My only issue is some days destiny is literally unplayable for me. Everything else, im happy with 100%

Gotta say I have enjoyed this game since day one. Yes, there were a lot of holes in it but slowly its becoming everything that was promised. Pretty much on the same page. There's a reason I haven't played destiny in a while and it's because I simply ran out of things to do that aren't 100% repetitive. I'm looking forward to the new stuff (guns, armor, etc.) even if it means I'm playing the same game again. I enjoyed it the first time so why wouldn't I enjoy it the second time or the third time. Just feels like more content to me (even if some of it is reused it still gives me stuff to do)
