I Can't Be the Only One
I can only hope there are others like me.
I preordered TTK, knowing it will be great fun. Played since day one, all previous DLCs, still loving it. I watched the stream, didn't hate any of it. Glad of the new stuff they are putting in. Year 1 gear "useless"? Couldn't give a flying fig. There are more things to attach to my glorious body out there, not to mention we can just break 'em down. Gjallarhorn rendered supposedly (according to forum flailers) pointless? Oh look, another flying fig. It's just a gun. I spent 200+ hours just looking for this gun before I got it randomly from a Nightfall.There might be something better on the way, even if they bring Gjallarhorn to par stat-wise. All this hate about having to re-level our exotics? Who cares, do it while you play the content. Bungie shouldn't have to spoon feed every exotic back to you fully upgraded. Work out those trigger fingers some more. I can say that I am glad I get to do that. I'll revisit all those exotics I neglected (*cough*Plan C*cough*) and maybe they will work their charms and it'll be my new go-to for shattering everything from those fidgety Hunters to the Hive.
I can say with certainty that I'm excited for TTK, and I'm [i]sure[/i] I'm not the only one. Let me hear it, Guardians...
Edit 1: C'mon Guardians, let's get this going. People (and Bungie) need to know how the majority stand.
Edit 2: All these awesome Guardians, and not a single hater to spoil it. This is what I like to see. (Knock on wood)
Edit 3: This thread is just taking off. I can't wait to see the love after the next two Twitch streams. I'm glad to know that there are at least this many people who love this game and for years onward hopefully. Keep on keeping on. Oh, and before I forget: some of you probably know me, but for those you who don't, you can call me Spaz. That's what everyone calls me. At least, I think they mean it as a name.....

2 RepliesThe Relevel is not like the Dark below, Look at this first; Guys relax, look if you want to leave then leave but atleast understand whats happening, if you year 2 exotics are powerful than year 1, its actually giving us more power and some benefits for grinding, sure that 135 legendary marks will keep us grinding but there are benefits like lets take the example Thorn: Thorn Year 1: Level up to unlock the Main perks Final round and DoT attack and get 365 attack max BUT ON YEAR 2 THIS IS WHERE GETS EXCITING: Thorn Year 2: Final Round and DoT already unlocked with more than 365 power but if level up more , get more benefit perks like increase Intellect, or speed reload or etc. This is actually good, Think about Hawkmoon or ghorn. Although Ghorn nerfed, when getting year 2 you would already have tracking and wolfpack with more power than 365 power and level up to get some additional perks like Increase agility, Armor etc. And you dont even need to depend on RNG for this, if you have the exotic already then you can obtain it easily from the blue print store.

1 ReplyI Love all the new stuff I like the new weapon changes ( apart from the fusion rifle nerf ) The only thing I don't like is year 1 gear not being ascendable But it doesn't bug me too much, because If I want too I can simply call up my metalworking friends, pay them a couple hundred bucks, get them to create a replica shell of a destiny weapon, then take the parts out of a airsoft gun of similar design, put them in said destiny shell, and bam I have a real life working version of any destiny gun I so choose to remake Edit: i'm actually working on getting hex caster arc done rn :D

Edited by Ded_n_Buried: 8/20/2015 9:01:19 AMI read the tags because you would be nuts not to these days, hyped for TTK :D Just to add to your post that I totally agree with, I am I think one of the few that didn't get caught up in the original hype of the release of Destiny, too much real life stuff going on, so when I joined in I just really enjoyed the mechanics and gameplay, that hasn't changed. this will still go down as one of my alltime favorite games and I have been a gamer for over 35 years.
