I Can't Be the Only One
I can only hope there are others like me.
I preordered TTK, knowing it will be great fun. Played since day one, all previous DLCs, still loving it. I watched the stream, didn't hate any of it. Glad of the new stuff they are putting in. Year 1 gear "useless"? Couldn't give a flying fig. There are more things to attach to my glorious body out there, not to mention we can just break 'em down. Gjallarhorn rendered supposedly (according to forum flailers) pointless? Oh look, another flying fig. It's just a gun. I spent 200+ hours just looking for this gun before I got it randomly from a Nightfall.There might be something better on the way, even if they bring Gjallarhorn to par stat-wise. All this hate about having to re-level our exotics? Who cares, do it while you play the content. Bungie shouldn't have to spoon feed every exotic back to you fully upgraded. Work out those trigger fingers some more. I can say that I am glad I get to do that. I'll revisit all those exotics I neglected (*cough*Plan C*cough*) and maybe they will work their charms and it'll be my new go-to for shattering everything from those fidgety Hunters to the Hive.
I can say with certainty that I'm excited for TTK, and I'm [i]sure[/i] I'm not the only one. Let me hear it, Guardians...
Edit 1: C'mon Guardians, let's get this going. People (and Bungie) need to know how the majority stand.
Edit 2: All these awesome Guardians, and not a single hater to spoil it. This is what I like to see. (Knock on wood)
Edit 3: This thread is just taking off. I can't wait to see the love after the next two Twitch streams. I'm glad to know that there are at least this many people who love this game and for years onward hopefully. Keep on keeping on. Oh, and before I forget: some of you probably know me, but for those you who don't, you can call me Spaz. That's what everyone calls me. At least, I think they mean it as a name.....

2 RepliesCrazy excited. Leveling Exotics is fun (plus new perks AND the exotic perk is already unlocked from the start? Whats the problem?) New weapons. New gear. New enemies. New missions. Double vault space. Quests. More bounties. Swords. NIGHTSTALKER. My body is ready. Every day that goes by brings me one step closer.

1 ReplyI think the game is moving in the right direction, I like that there is no real "pay to win" BS in it. Yes you pay for the DLC, at the end of the day it's no worse than a lot of the other games out there. I've got enough play time out of the game my 80 bucks to date has been well spent, I per-ordered TTK as I think I'll get my 40 bucks out of it too. I like that I can wonder around and explore on patrol, I can follow the story, run raids, or go get my ass kicked in the crucible. You can play for 15 minutes or 15 hours. I'm looking forward to the changes. To everyone bitching about the cost to keep the game current, it's still cheap entertainment if you like it. If you don't like it, express your opinion and move on. Game companies exist to make money, support the ones that are giving you what you feel you paid for, and stay away from the ones that don't. Just can trashing those people who define enjoyment differently than you do.

1 ReplyI can't wait for TTK. My friend and I were hootin and hollerin at pretty much everything in the stream. It was amazing. Just like you, I couldn't give a flying fig about losing my old weapons and armor. I'm looking forward to using the new and better weapons. I'm happy I got the collectors edition because this is going to be AWESOME!

7 RepliesI like it :) seems awesome. Here are my pros/cons though. PROS There wont be anymore Gjallahorn only raid groups. I'll actually be able to use auto rifles and do damage YEAAAA I can go into patrol mode with my best friends and explore and fight bosses :) (oryxx's dreadnaught patrol) No light levels! That was a pain in the ass to get '-' (for my other characters) I don't have a limit on legendary marks so i can just binge and buy all the new guns (wallet size is low but there is no limit so its better) Hakke, Suros, Omolon. Need I say more? A new enemy type WITH THERE OWN -blam!-ING SUPERS. -blam!-ING SUPERS. I can get a sword. :) IDK what an artifact is but from the screenshot in live stream it looked pretty damn cool but he didn't hover over it '-' Ghost shells. I was driven mad they didn't have it. But hopefully there will be cooler looking ones '-' Hammer of Sol, I'm gonna wreck with it. I have the collections so I can basically see what I need for shaders, emblems, etc. for my beautiful collection :) I am an XB1 user, so for the hawkmoon I'll be ready to get my hands on that :D They actually have a story line :) Bye Dinklebot, sorry you sounded stiff. Nobody will use the same gear :) until they find that one overpowered exotic and won't care for suros, hakke, or omolon ever again. CONS I start off at max level because i have a lot of exotics. Like 15-20ish '-' I'd rather start 20-30 so i can level up a little and feel glory leveling up 40$? I'd expect 2 raids or something '-' still hyped for game tho Instantly become level 25 crystal thingy. nuh bruh '-' Vangaurd/Crucible marks TURN IN TO COMMENDATIONS?I've spent a long time grinding commendations and now your basically giving them away for free :(
