I Can't Be the Only One
I can only hope there are others like me.
I preordered TTK, knowing it will be great fun. Played since day one, all previous DLCs, still loving it. I watched the stream, didn't hate any of it. Glad of the new stuff they are putting in. Year 1 gear "useless"? Couldn't give a flying fig. There are more things to attach to my glorious body out there, not to mention we can just break 'em down. Gjallarhorn rendered supposedly (according to forum flailers) pointless? Oh look, another flying fig. It's just a gun. I spent 200+ hours just looking for this gun before I got it randomly from a Nightfall.There might be something better on the way, even if they bring Gjallarhorn to par stat-wise. All this hate about having to re-level our exotics? Who cares, do it while you play the content. Bungie shouldn't have to spoon feed every exotic back to you fully upgraded. Work out those trigger fingers some more. I can say that I am glad I get to do that. I'll revisit all those exotics I neglected (*cough*Plan C*cough*) and maybe they will work their charms and it'll be my new go-to for shattering everything from those fidgety Hunters to the Hive.
I can say with certainty that I'm excited for TTK, and I'm [i]sure[/i] I'm not the only one. Let me hear it, Guardians...
Edit 1: C'mon Guardians, let's get this going. People (and Bungie) need to know how the majority stand.

Edit 3: This thread is just taking off. I can't wait to see the love after the next two Twitch streams. I'm glad to know that there are at least this many people who love this game and for years onward hopefully. Keep on keeping on. Oh, and before I forget: some of you probably know me, but for those you who don't, you can call me Spaz. That's what everyone calls me. At least, I think they mean it as a name.....

I'm looking forward to it. I like the new UI and looks like it will refresh destiny for me, having played only destiny since the alpha (until last weekend when I thought I'd try ESO, which will only occupy me till TTK comes out). I do feel I will benefit from a bit of a break from destiny (only logging in to help people beat skolas), but definitely looking forward to getting stuck into TTK.

Here since alpha. I love destiny and play it daily. I would -blam!-ing pay 100 bucks if the dlc was that expensive.

You are not the only one, in fact you are likely in the majority, its just that the haters like the sound of their own voices more than the happy. Personally, cant wait for TTK, no problem with the cost, no problem with the content.

3 RepliesBeta player. 3 characters on PS4. 2 on XB1 (although not buying TTK for XB1). Love playing the game. Like what I see in TTK. Preordered the CE with stupid GameStop. Played RPG's before this. If you played Demon Souls and had to farm the black skeletons and you know what I am talking about - then you know that Destiny grind is actually not that bad.

You're not the only one. I still enjoy playing and I'm looking forward to what will becoming with TTK. To be honest, there are some things that I'm a little disappointed about, but I'm sure that once I start playing TTK I'll soon get over my disappointments and start appreciating the changes.

2 RepliesNo you're not the only one, but a lot of people these days suffer from entitlement mentalities. I was very critical of TTK and by my standards the dlc either met or exceeded what I desired. I do understand nearly everything yesterday was just the 2.0 update, and not actually TTK, but when you really take in what TTK has in it, it really does come close to being a full game in and of itself despite not having multiple new areas. I want to qualify that last statement by saying new game compared to what Destiny originally was not by comparing it to witcher 3 GTA V, ESO, and any other game that has more content.

4 RepliesI'm excited to see what they bring to the table to fix all of the problems they have yet to deal with (story, progression system, loot, etc). However, I'm not Pre-ordering. There's no reason to throw money at a product you don't know the quality of just for a bit of (timed) exclusive garbage. Feel like destiny year 1 was more of a beta than anything, and that all the problems are finally being addressed a year after release, for extra $$$.
