So how does infusion work with our current raid weapons and gear?
If it has to be of the same year and of higher value, how is it even possible to infuse lets say VoC if your current one is maxed at 365 (160) to a higher power level?
I watched Datto's video on it but all he really talks about is Year 2 weapons and attack power levels, nothing about how our current gear coincides with the new infusion process.

Don't dismantle your year 1 stuff because they use everything in your inventory to calculate your new level. If you delete all legendary items, could cause you to start at level 30 instead of 34. Or that's what I got out of the whole explanation in the video.

Yes, i made a mental note to make sure i have all my strongest gear fitted when i log out on the 14th. The calcs you mention might be made on what you've got equipped when you log in on the 15th.

That's what i pretty much figured. Which is why I don't understand them telling us not to dismantle anything, since supposedly only Year 2 stuff gives us legendary marks.

No idea. You might not have this specific emblem in your collection just because you dismantled it before the TTK.
