Yeah, but in all honesty the whole pre-order charade needs to die out. It only leads to opportunities for game devs to cash in early for something they haven't released yet by offering cheap rewards, which encourages and leads to big issues on release. This is exemplified perfectly by BF4, MCC, and AC:Unity.
Rather than a game's profits be dependent on its marketing campaign and hype building, I'd like to see a more informed community that can have confidence in the quality of the product they buy.
I really hope that soon we can see refund policies like Steam and Origin have on consoles.
Steam's policy is that if you don't like a game, you can return it for a full refund if you've played less than 2 hours and owned it for less than 14 days.
It was precisely this refund policy that prevented WB from cashing out and running with the profits from Arkham Knight on the PC, and is a great way of protecting consumers.
