I gotcha. It's just the way Bungie tweaks guns/ the meta I wouldn't want to shard my already owned exotic that's fully leveled up to fully level it again, ya know?
I was kinda hoping it was like an exotic vault. Either way. Looks like I won't be dismantling any of exotic weapons until we know if the 2.0 weapon balance is here to stay for a while.

I'm starting to save crappy crucible legendary drops just so I can use them for infusion, I'm filling my vault with legendaries from raids and stuff for more level ups

I was on the understanding that we can only infuse a weapon if the weapon we are infusing has a higher attack/defense value!? Example: I have this 280 attack pulse rifle that I enjoy, I can take this 290 attack auto rifle and infuse those attack stats(dismantling the auto essentially) to up the pulse rifles attack To like 288. Whereas if the autos attack value was below 280, say 250 it wouldn't infuse to make the pulse rifles stats higher.

Lol I know right? I think etheric light was a good idea but just implemented wrong. they should have almost been like the keys where each character could only hold 5 but let's say 3. So that way we would have to use them and not hoard the shit out of them. Even then I still have 5 keys per character cause I don't do PoE anymore but still. Either way its lame that they implemented that just for it to become a thing of the past so quick... They just made VoG weapons too damn good and they no way to make guns better without semi breaking the game. The time to kill would be insane. Lol I won't be deleting fatebringer or VoC. Those are my VoG trophies!
