No, it's not worth it. The engrams you get and decrypt now will stay as Year 1 Exotics. Hoped this helped.

Thanks that was exactly what I was asking cause I have 300 notes of light gathering dust

Your motes will come in more useful for bonds etc from the speaker, plus if you buy engrams there coded for year 1 which as you maybe seen last night, not all year 1 exotics are getting a boost to year 2 so will probably only end up as trophies.
