I made this post not too long ago, got some good attention to change up my game in the Crucible. Here's what I've compiled so far in the last 10 games in Crucible before another controller was broken. AND YES I rage, but don't we all at some point? For the past 10 or so games on my Hunter, I've come to being the top player in most of the games that I've played. I've been running the "Six Dreg Pride" Hand Cannon, "Matador 64" Shotgun, and an old "Deviant Gravity-A" Machine Gun. I had compiled a few sweet kills on my Elgato and will be uploading them soon to Youtube as part of another montage, but before I could finish, I ended up in a game full of "Lighthouse Try-hards" (is what I like to call them). First off, ALL 4 of them were either using Last Word, Red Death, or Thorn. They were comprised of 1 Warlock, 1 Titan, and 2 Hunters. They all had blink, Titan had Bubble. Our entire team of 6 would struggle against these guys that were using the Blink/Shotgun combo that ALL of these try-hards use in Trials. The titan would use his bubble on the control objectives with another Judgement VI shotgun and camp at the center control point B. So it was very difficult to get any objective, especially when it's 6 on 4. I finally gave up because nearly every fight I had encountered with one of these guys ended up in getting shot down by one of the shotguns. I would get shot by a thorn here and there, but only to get tracked down and hit by yet ANOTHER shotgun. Now let me ask you this last thing Guardians, HOW IS IT that we call these players "GOOD" in any way? They are using the same top 3 weapons in the game, but only kill those with shotguns. I use Red Death when it's needed, but the Hand Cannon can 3 shot a guy from a distance if shots hit the head. The exotics are a HUGE problem in the Crucible. I'm not saying exotics are bad, they're supposed to be OP. But calling someone "good" because they use Thorn or Last Word or shotguns as the only gun in their arsenal? It's ridiculous! It's stupid! I've been called BAD because I don't use these guns as much as I should. Bull crap. I had decimated the competition by using only legendary weapons AND a machine gun. I only use the shotgun as a last resort, so the primary is always sitting out getting all the kills. Rockets don't get more than maybe 4 kills (depends if you get multikills with 1 shot or not), so Machine Guns can get 10-15 kills with just one Heavy drop. The exotics in PvP have ruined Crucible. Now go ahead, make all your remarks and hateful comments. Bungie is watching and will decide if you get banned or not for the mistreatment of another player. Haters gonna hate, but always end up getting the boot. I know my Crucible score is low, but WHO CARES!? I have an average K/D, higher than most that have over a million score on their profile. I want the positive input to see how you think exotics should change, or get removed completely, in the Crucible. Or have a competitive playlist that has NO EXOTICS in play at all.
